Eucharistic Heart of Jesus Model College Excels at the 2025 Annual Igiehon Mathematics Tournament

Eucharistic Heart of Jesus Model College has once again affirmed its reputation as a citadel of academic excellence with an outstanding performance at the 2025 Annual Igiehon Mathematics Tournament, a highly competitive intellectual contest that featured 114 secondary schools across Edo State.

Demonstrating exceptional analytical skill, confidence, and discipline, our students emerged as the Overall Second Position - an achievement that places the school among the very best in the state and underscores our sustained commitment to quality education.

Prize Award and Recognition

In recognition of this remarkable feat, a total prize award of One Million Naira (₦1,000,000) was presented in accordance with the policy of the Igiehon Foundation, distributed as follows:

• ₦300,000 each to the two students who proudly represented the school
• ₦200,000 to the teacher who prepared and guided the students
• ₦200,000 to Eucharistic Heart of Jesus Model College

In addition to the cash awards, the two student representatives were each presented with a brand new laptop, further empowering them for future academic exploration and excellence.
