Admission Policy
We admit students into Junior and Senior Secondary School.
A child seeking admission into Junior Secondary School in EHJMC Benin City should be able to write the Entrance Examination in the following subjects:
- Mathematics
- English Language
- General Knowledge
For the Senior Secondary School, a child must have a sound knowledge of Mathematics, English Language, General Paper and Integrated Science.
It is important to note that the school does not offer admission into examination classes: JSS3 and SS3.
The entrance examination into the senior and junior classes is valid only for a particular session in which the examination was written.
Successful candidates in the exams are subsequently interviewed, and thereafter, are offered admission upon being certified medically fit for admission into the College. For students coming into JSS1, they must have attained the age of 10 years by the September of the admission year.
Admission Requirements
Admission will be granted to prospective students who:
- Have successfully completed primary school
- Have met Entrance Examination requirements
- Participated successfully in Written and Personal Interviews conducted by EHJMC
- Have submitted records of achievements in primary school, officially stamped by their Headmaster/Headmistress
- Have filled and submitted our application form
- Have submitted a copy of their Testimonial from last primary school attended and copy of birth certificate or baptismal card
- Are ready to abide by the EHJMC's rules and regulations affirmed through the signing of the Acceptance of Admission form by the parents of the incoming student
- Have been medically certified fit to study in the School as a boarder
